The importance of charity in Islam is explained in many ways, Muhammad, upon him be peace, said: “Avoid doing injustice to others, for on the Day of Judgment, it will turn into manifold darkness, and safeguard yourself against miserliness, for it ruined those who were before you. It incited them to murder and treating the unlawful as lawful.” (Muslim). We all know how the world have gone through one of the worst health crises in history. Some of us have lost their loved ones, whereas some of us have being given another opportunity by Allah (s.w.t) to make things better for us. Our brothers and sisters in Yemen needs us desperately, we cannot hear their voices but we can see the crisis they are in. In this time of digital era, we have endless ways to help our brothers and sisters to live and survive through these crisis. Always remember that charity is the third most important component of our faith.

Muhammad, upon him be peace, said: “Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).” (Muslim)
