wings and tails, similar in shape to kites, but they have

One of the birds with the greatest airspeed velocity is the peregrine falcon, able to exceed 320 km/h (200 mph) in its hunting dives. The greatest self-powered horizontal flight speed is achieved by the white-throated needletail, capable of such speeds as 169 km/h (105 mph), typically during mating rituals.
The falcon is the national bird of United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and several other countries, recognising the importance of falconry in their tradition and culture.‘They are adaptable to nearly every latitude and climatic zones except Antarctica’ (Dottlinger et al.1999).
